The purpose of this workshop is to learn color theory as it applies to tattooing, how to compose for body flow, hone and develop the skill of proper ink saturation, and the heal process and skin anatomy as it applies to tattoo art.
This five day intensive course focuses on hand rhythm, speed, percussion, and bio-feedback.
Heather Maranda's Shovel, shingle, laser beam, and butter whip techniques will be demonstrated and explained in great detail.
It also includes a full day of color theory, with practical application, lessons on body flow and composition, and a lesson on skin anatomy and the healing process discussing ink assimilation and stressing the importance of a clean heal to bright and saturated color.
